At first, we thought it was our cat, Oscar, who had caused the mass destruction in our living room. We even laughed it off, thinking that he must have seen a fly and done his best puma impression to track it down and pounce on it. Getting to Know Windows 8

When Windows 8 was released in October 2012, I posted about it on our internal message board for financial advisors, hoping to get some questions, concerns, reviews, or comments from them. Now, five months later, Windows 8 has invaded our lives. The feedback I’m hearing from advisors and their staff members is typically “I don’t know how to use this thing!” or “I fear Windows 8."

Google Reader Is Dead. Long Live Google Reader!

If you never used Google Reader as your RSS reader, you are lucky. You won’t know what you are missing. You also won’t know the pain that I am experiencing right now. I’m having thoughts like, “I won’t know how to use the Internet anymore,” and “How can I convince Google to change its mind?” Alas, July 1, 2013, will be the last time that the world will know the beauty that is/was Google Reader.
